Front: This front hub with a funny name does everything a reliable, serviceable, lightweight front hub should do and more. It spins very smoothly due to specially machined bearing bores and high quality precision sealed cartridge bearings. The axle is turned from high-strength 7075 aluminum, and is the quick-release version.

Rear: The hub that started all that single speed mountain bike silliness: The Wacky One-speed Rear Device. The W.O.R.D. comes with special machined axle bolts which Paul affectionately calls “Fancy Bolts”. The washers are made of brass and have deeply knurled contact faces. This ensures they’ll grip onto dropout faces without marring the frame, yet will still be able to be loosened easily trail side.
