The Freshly Minted The Phoenix 7"

The Phoenix pays homage to the Italian pro Felice Gimondi whose career was loaded with accolades despite coinciding with the great Eddy Merckx. It was during his time on Team Salvarani that he won all three Grand Tours, having been one of only seven cyclists to do so. He was nicknamed the Phoenix because - we jest you not - all Italian bike racers have nicknames.
