Speed demons have been clamoring for a halfway slick option—a tire that marries the quickness of our slicks with the grip of our knobbies. They weren't interested in a regular halfway slick, but the identical circular shape to our other Rene Herse tires for steady cornering traction in all situations—be it a sloppy gravel race or a lightning-fast downhill with tight switchbacks. We reinvented semi-slick tires over a three-year period, resulting in three new patents. The Corkscrew Climb semi-slick is named after the biggest climb of the SBT GRVL race in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Instead of distinct tread zones, the slick tread seamlessly transitions into the side knobs for better and more predictable grip. Our clever noise cancelling technology makes this tire eerily quiet, making it perfect for gravel riding. Innovations abound: The tread radius is larger than the casing, making for a tire that turns like a wider one. This also lets us keep the center tread thin and smooth for minimal rolling resistance, while the high side knobs ensure top-notch grip on sinking surfaces. Double up with our bendable casings, and BOOM! a semi-slick tire that's speedier than the slickest on the block. We ain't throwing around "revolution" willy-nilly - test these bad boys out for yourself and let us know if you catch a change! Choose the Standard casing for an affordable yet durable option, providing both comfort and speed while enduring heavy use. Upgrade to the Extralight casing for a noticeable increase in performance, comfort, and feel. For added protection against sidewall damage and punctures without sacrificing speed and comfort, go with the Endurance casing. And for the toughest conditions, the Endurance Plus casing offers the ultimate in sidewall protection. Specs: Clincher, folding bead Tubeless-compatible ISO size: 44 - 622 mm Rim recommendations: 17 - 28 mm (inner width), hookless or with hooks Maximum pressure: 60 psi (4 bar) Actual width on 20 mm rim (internal): approx. 43 mm Actual width on 23 mm rim (internal): approx. 44 mm Extralight casing: +1 mm width Tubeless: +0.5 mm width Made in Japan Standard casing Supple casing Tan sidewalls 517 g Extralight casing Ultra-light, ultra-supple casing The ultimate in speed and comfort Tan sidewalls 481 g Endurance casing The same ultra-fine threads as our Extralight casing, but in a denser, stronger weave Protective belt under sidewalls and tread Ideal for rough gravel and tough conditions Dark tan sidewalls 552 g Endurance Plus casing Extra-tough casing with ultra-strong threads Protective belt under sidewalls and tread The ultimate in sidewall protection Dark tan sidewalls 564 g The Corkscrew Climb is tubeless-compatible.

The Schwalbe Albert is a guarantee for safety and control in all situations. It has the perfect all-round properties for almost all routes and conditions. The sophisticated intermediate tread pattern is combined with the best rubber compounds to push the limits to unimagined dimensions. The shoulder lugs adopted from the Tacky Chan ensure extended braking edges and good lateral force transmission. Thanks to the new radial carcass, the tire absorbs bumps much better and literally sucks itself into the ground, as it can deform at certain points. The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle on normal bicycle tires, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle on the Albert Gravity Pro. The technology, which was developed in the Downhill World Cup, turns the MTB world on its head. Primarily, the arrangement ensures that the carcass material overlaps shorter and with less tension. As a result, the tire deforms more selectively and can react much more flexibly and adaptably to bumps without sacrificing the safety factor. With the same air pressure, radial tires offer 30 percent more contact area than conventional tires. The result is more grip, more cushioning and more comfort. Schwalbe PRO The PRO tires from Schwalbe stand for exceptional performance and were explicitly designed for competition. Extremely fast, very light with good mileage make these tires the first choice for all ambitious athletes. Addix Ultra Soft compound The compound with maximum damping is perfect for hardcore use in Enduro, Gravity and Downhill. Thanks to the improved compound, it can also be used optimally in cold conditions. TLR - Tubeless Ready A new monofilament side fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard: even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, makes tubeless conversion extremely easy. The use of sealing fluid is necessary, but the fitting itself is easy. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are a thing of the past with Schwalbe TLR tires. Note: Tires with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. However, soft tires degrade more quickly and are more susceptible to wear.

The ultimate tire for bikepacking and gravel adventures – and recipient of Bikepacking.com’s coveted ‘Gear of the Year’ award for the ‘Best New Component.’ Developed together with bikepacking legend Lael Wilcox, the Fleecer Ridge measures 29 x 2.2 (or 700C x 55 mm), making it a perfect fit for bikepacking bikes. We name our tires after the passes that inspire them: Fleecer Ridge is the toughest climb on the incredible Tour Divide that traverses the Rocky Mountains from Canada to the Mexican border. On a ride that long, you’ll need a tire that can handle a huge range of conditions, from deep snow and mud via fast gravel to pavement as you descend into towns to resupply. The Fleecer Ridge grips like a knobby when conditions get tough. On pavement, it rolls like a slick tire thanks to its large and strategically placed knobs that don’t squirm and always put the same amount of rubber on the road. The Fleecer Ridge is the world’s first bicycle tire with noise cancellation. The Standard casing is comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Endurance casing is reinforced for extra sidewall protection and puncture resistance, while retaining the speed and comfort for which Rene Herse tires are famous.
$98.00
At 48 mm wide, the Hatcher Pass hits the sweet spot between narrow gravel tire (38 mm) and mountain bike volume (55 mm) – ideal for the latest generation of gravel and all-road bikes. Named after Lael Wilcox’s favorite road in Alaska, this tire perfect for Hatcher Pass: The front side of the climb is paved and leads to Independence Mine (an abandoned gold mine that is now a state park). The back side is dirt. In August and September there are fields full of wild blueberries near the top. The Standard casing is comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Endurance casing is reinforced for extra sidewall protection and puncture resistance, while retaining the speed and comfort for which Rene Herse tires are famous.
$98.00
Whether you race gravel or head into unknown terrain, the Hurricane Ridge gives you the confidence that you’ll be able to handle everything from fast pavement to deep mud or snow. Named after one of the biggest climbs in the Northwest, the Hurricane Ridge uses Rene Herse's revolutionary dual-purpose knobby tread. The tire is always supported by the same amount of rubber, whether it’s rolling forward or leaning into a turn. This gives you uniform grip at all times – whether in a muddy gravel race or during a paved descent with ultra-fast hairpin turns. The Standard casing is comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse.
$98.00
Wide enough to handle any adventure, but narrow enough to fit into most gravel bikes. Juniper Ridge is a rough trail on the Dark Divide in the center of the Cascade Mountains. To reach this remote destination, you want a fast tire that gets you there. When you’re actually climbing Juniper Ridge, you need excellent grip and ample volume to cope with the rugged nature of this trail. The Juniper Ridge’s large knobs don’t squirm and offer excellent performance and cornering on paved roads, yet they are spaced widely to dig into the surface when it gets slippery. The tread self-cleans as the tire rotates. You have to ride these tires to believe how fast they roll and how well they corner! The Standard casing is comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse.
$98.00
Trying to choose between a knobby, semi-slick, or full slick for an upcoming ride or race? The Manastash Ridge handles everything from fast pavement to deep mud or snow. Named after a rugged ridge in central Washington, the Manastash Ridge uses our revolutionary dual-purpose knobby tread. Strategic placement of the knobs means the tire is always supported by the same amount of rubber, whether rolling forward or leaning into a turn. This gives you uniform grip at all times – whether in a muddy gravel race or during a paved descent with ultra-fast hairpin turns. Our new Brake Support technology ensures that the knobs don’t fold over, even under the massive g-forces generated by the best hydraulic discs. Noise canceling technology makes this knobby tire as quiet and smooth as a slick—even on pavement. No matter what the course throws at you, the Manastash Ridge has you covered. The Standard casing is our more affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level. The Endurance casing is reinforced for extra sidewall protection and puncture resistance, while retaining the speed and comfort for which Rene Herse tires are famous. The Endurance Plus casing provides the ultimate in sidewall protection for extremely tough conditions. The Manastash Ridge is tubeless-compatible. For tubeless setup, we recommend Rene Herse Supple Sealant. When used with tubes, we recommend Rene Herse TPU tubes. Pro Tip: Compared to the similar-sized Hurricane Ridge, the Manastash Ridge is a newer design with (slightly) lower rolling resistance. It is quieter thanks to noise canceling technology. It handles even better, especially under hard braking. The Hurricane Ridge with its more open tread pattern excels in deep, sticky mud.

A road-centric knobby? A dirt-ready road tire? You decide! At 48 mm wide, the Oracle Ridge hits the sweet spot between narrow gravel tire (38 mm) and mountain bike volume (55 mm) – ideal for the latest generation of gravel and all-road bikes. We’ve developed the Oracle Ridge together with bikepacking legend Lael Wilcox, and we’ve named it after one of Lael’s favorite routes: Oracle Ridge is a beautiful gravel climb outside Tucson, AZ, which connects to the backside of Mount Lemmon for an ultra-fast descent on pavement. On the gravel climb, this tire grips tenaciously thanks to its large and widely spaced knobs. On the descent, it corners like a slick thanks to its large and strategically placed knobs that don’t squirm and always put the same amount of rubber on the road. The Oracle Ridge features our noise cancellation technology. The staggered tread blocks create overlapping noise frequencies that partially cancel each other. The Oracle Ridge’s speed, grip and lack of noise make you forget you’re riding a knobby – until you hit some loose or muddy ground and appreciate the extra grip. The Standard casing is comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse.
