WRC FAQ

About Our Shop

We handle everything from quick tune-ups to full custom builds. Our service department offers wheel truing, suspension overhauls, e-bike diagnostics, brake bleeds, and drivetrain replacements. We also do professional bike fits, test rides, and handle warranty claims in-house. Whether you need a minor tweak or a full rebuild, our techs have you covered.

Appointments aren’t required, but they do help us plan our queue and ensure faster turnaround. Walk-ins are always welcome for small adjustments or flat repairs. For tune-ups or suspension work, booking ahead online or by phone is best — especially during spring and summer when our shop is busiest.

We carry top brands across every category — road, mountain, gravel, and e-bike. You’ll find models from Specialized, Trek, Yeti, Santa Cruz, and Cannondale, plus components from SRAM, Shimano, and Fox. Our inventory also includes helmets, shoes, apparel, and accessories from trusted names like POC, Giro, and Garmin.

General Cycling Questions

Frame size depends on your height, inseam, flexibility, and riding goals. As a starting point, we’ll measure your inseam and compare it to brand-specific geometry charts. From there, a professional fit can dial in saddle height, reach, and handlebar position for optimal comfort and efficiency. Even two bikes with the same frame size can fit differently, so a quick test ride always helps.

Service needs depend on how often and where you ride. A good rule of thumb: a full tune-up every 6-12 months for casual riders, and every 3-4 months for daily commuters or mountain bikers. Clean your drivetrain regularly, especially after wet or dusty rides, and bring it in if you hear any grinding, skipping, or squeaking.

Road bikes are built for speed and efficiency on pavement, gravel bikes handle mixed terrain with wider tires and stable geometry, and mountain bikes are designed for control and durability on trails. Many riders now choose gravel bikes for versatility — they’re fast on the road but confident on dirt paths too.

Product Questions

Yes. We encourage test rides so you can feel how each bike fits and handles. Bring your helmet and ID, and we’ll set you up on a bike that matches your size and goals. You can also schedule extended demos for select models if you want to try them on your favorite routes.

New, unused items can be returned within 30 days with a receipt. Bikes and special orders may have restocking fees depending on the brand’s policy. We always aim to make sure you’re completely happy with your purchase, so stop by or call us if you have questions before returning anything.

Most bike brands include a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and at least one year on components. If something fails due to a defect, we’ll handle the warranty process for you. Just bring in the bike or call our service team, and we’ll coordinate with the manufacturer to get you back on the road.
