The Director of Marketing holds the ultimate responsibility for the organization’s marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a full integrated marketing strategy
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Wheat Ridge Cyclery’s Branding and Marketing strategies
- Develop and implement marketing plan for new product introductions
- Drive store and web traffic through effective Google Ads campaigns and search terms
- Manage social media strategies and platforms
- Engage with customers and grow relevant audiences on social media platforms
- Monitor social media trends and implement best practices
- Manage relationships with digital marketing partners
- Stay current in marketing trends, methods, and techniques
- Stay current in cycling trends
- Create and monitor marketing budget with company leadership
- Manage and improve digital reputation, rating, and recognition
- Develop and implement email marketing campaign
- Manage digital and creative content of retail website
Experience
- Must have current knowledge of cycling products and trends
- Two or more years of marketing experience preferred

- Advanced Google AdWords and Analytics knowledge and experience

FULL TIME BUYER
APPAREL AND ACCESSORIES BUYER
Wheat Ridge Cyclery seeks a full-time apparel and accessories buyer. Responsibilities of this position include product planning and purchasing to support our cycling retail business. Previous bicycle retail buying and inventory management experience is desired.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform seasonal and pre-season orders of cycling apparel and accessories
- Complete weekly order cycles to maintain proper amount of on-hand inventory and ensure timeliness and accuracy of special orders
- Monitor and maintain open orders
- Maintain Open to Buy financial plan
- Manage inventory days on hand and mark down slow-moving product as appropriate
- Maximize product profitability/margin, turn-rate, and volume
- Build and maintain relationships with supplier representatives
- Provide updates to management, and work with management on purchase planning
- Work with retail staff on merchandising and maintenance of product back stock
- Assist with regular inventory cycle counts
- Maintain up to date and accurate product information in POS
- Assist customers as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Overtime may be available or required based on workload
Experience
- Five years retail sales experience, buying experience strongly preferred
- Experience with executing Open to Buy principles
- Experience with POS ordering systems, vendor ordering platforms and processes
- Modern merchandising principles and best practices
- Current knowledge of bicycle products and trends
- Retail management experience a plus

SERVICE department
Warranty lead
Warranty Lead
The Warranty Lead is responsible for overseeing, processing, tracking and completion of all warranties, recalls, and crash replacement issues for WRC and its customers. Responsibilities will also include documentation, tracking and communication of all warranty related issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clear communication between WRC, customer, and vendor on all warranty related issues
- Trouble shoot and problem solve issues
- Submit warranty claims with product vendors
- Create accurate and timely purchase orders and return to vendor orders
- Create and edit accurate Repair Work Orders with thorough notation
- Track credits with accounting team
- Assist service department with repairs and answering phones
- Update customers on warranty process and progress
Experience
- Exceptional practical bike knowledge
- Five or more years of bike mechanic experience
- Confident, driven, and collaborative coordinator
Skills and Traits
- Strives to provide a positive experience that fosters long-term customer relationships
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
- Thorough understanding of wheel, suspension, disc brake, electronic drivetrain, and e-bike technologies

SERVICE WRITERS
Service Writers are solely responsible for check-in/out, diagnosing issues and selling service packages. Service Writers must be very knowledgeable in the wide range of current and older componentry, including:
- Road and Mountain bike drivetrains
- Wheels
- Suspension
- Braking systems
- All other bicycle systems of various technological eras that will be encountered in a diagnostic format.
Dynamic personality, positive attitude, professionalism and a proven ability to provide customers with best-in-class service. This is a very busy, high-volume service department. The ability to provide engaged and thorough care and empathy for each and every customer is key to the success of the department and to the continued high esteem we enjoy in our market. Listening closely and providing a legendary customer service experience are mandatory!

The WRC Service Lab is paradise for the discriminating bicycle mechanic, featuring 16 full-service bays, dedicated wheel building department, and a fully outfitted, dedicated mountain bike suspension service room. This is bicycle mechanic heaven!
