CAR RACKS

One more thing:  In the case of fork-mount systems like truck beds and some roof racks, you need to know how to remove your front wheel.

Hitch racks

This type of rack slides into the receiver of a trailer hitch. Many vehicles come with them installed and they can usually be installed as an aftermarket option on most vehicles.

This type of rack is nice because it doesn’t limit access to vehicle the hatchback or wagon doors and they are very versatile for adding accessories. The only drawback is that they require lifting the bike overhead, which may be difficult for some and is not feasible for heavier rigs like e-bikes.
